darulfunun ilahiyat aims to publish articles dealing
with different aspects of religion in independent and interdisciplinary fields
and theoretical and applied sciences.
darulfunun ilahiyat focuses on religion, faith and
behaviors of its practitioners and religion as system of belief and society.
The journal expects the articles to (i) Address human and social sciences; (ii)
Develop original theoretical and conceptual advances; (iii) Examine different
and new research methods; (iv) Present comparative studies using case studies.

- Islamic culture and civilization,
- Islamic law, theology, Sufism, hadith, tafsir, Arabic language and literature
- History of religions; philosophy of religion, sociology of religion, psychology of religion and religious education

In addition to qualified, original, theoretical, and applied research, darulfunun ilahiyat also publishes book reviews, research notes, meeting abstracts and translatory-commentarial papers from classical languages.
