Articles published in the Journal of Turkish World Studies are submitted to electronic archives and made fully accessible in compliance with open access conditions. Additionally, the journal editor ensures that all published works are securely stored in the archive.
The author or supporting institution may upload a copy of the approved article to their own archive site. Authors who publish in the Journal of Turkish World Studies, under the CC BY-NC 4.0 open access license, may reuse their article for non-commercial purposes with proper citation of the original source. The archiving policy of the Journal of Turkish World Studies (e-ISSN: 2667-6729) is as follows:
• The Journal of Turkish World Studies allows authors to archive their articles in any medium of their choice (personal website, personal computer, portable storage devices). Additionally, after publication, authors may archive the final published version of the article (in PDF format) in an institutional repository.
• Authors may self-archive their published articles in public and/or commercial repositories without any embargo period. The article should be properly cited, and a link to the journal’s homepage or the article’s DOI number should be provided where it is posted.
• Authors can download and print their articles as a PDF document.
• Authors may share copies of the article with any individuals without restriction.
• The Journal of Turkish World Studies permits the storage of all versions of the articles (submitted, accepted, and published versions). Authors have the right to store their articles in any institution or archive of their choice without any restrictions.
• The Journal of Turkish World Studies uses the LOCKSS system for the permanent archiving of articles. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program provides award-winning, cost-effective, open-source digital preservation tools, ensuring libraries and publishers permanent access to authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program operates on the principle of "lots of copies keep stuff safe" and serves as a digital preservation system within library management. It supports libraries with end-to-end digital preservation software, developed and maintained as open source.
