Tomasz Szablewski, since 2010 assistant professor in Poznań University of Life Science in Department of Food Quality and Safety Management (Poland). 2006 M.Sc. in food technology and human nutrition, specialisation: food biotechnology, Poznań University of Life Science, the Faculty of Food technology and Nutrition. 2006 Food Technology and Nutrition teaching, the Poznań University of Life Science. 2010 PhD in agricultural sciences in the field of food technology and nutrition, the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition.
Awarded six times with the PULS Rector awards for scientific accomplishments documented with publications. In 2012 awarded for scientific and teaching accomplishments with the award of the Members of The Faculty of Agricultural, Forestry and Veterinary Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for Young, Active Researchers – Pro Scientia et Vitae. Received funds from several agencies, including: National Science Center, Poland.
I published more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers in different reputed/impacted journals. My major research focus on food quality and safety, particularly in screening of food hazards (pathogenic microorganisms, mycotoxins) and testing some bioactive molecules as natural preservatives isolated from eggs and different kind of spices.
