ETÜ Sentez Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences
ETÜ Sentez Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences is an open-access, peer-reviewed, international academic journal published biannually in June and December since 2020. Manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal must be written in Turkish or English.

As one of the newest peer-reviewed journals in Turkey within the fields of economics and administrative sciences, ETÜ Sentez serves as a platform for examining and researching topics related to economics and administrative sciences while also welcoming contributions from related disciplines such as economic sociology, history, social policy, international relations, and financial studies. The journal’s target audience includes academics, researchers, professionals, students, and relevant professional and academic institutions. Each author is allowed to publish a maximum of one article per issue.

No processing or submission fees are charged for manuscripts submitted or accepted for publication in the journal.

All expenses of the journal are covered by Erzurum Technical University. Articles submitted for publication must adhere to research and publication ethics guidelines. ETÜ Sentez follows the ethical principles, standards, and recommendations set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding publication ethics.

By submitting a manuscript to ETÜ Sentez, authors automatically transfer all publication rights to the journal. No separate signature or approval document is required from the author(s) for this transfer. The scientific, linguistic, legal, and ethical responsibility for published articles lies with the author(s).

For manuscripts under review, the journal corresponds only with the corresponding author and does not engage with other co-authors or provide them with any information.

All publication and copyright rights of ETÜ Sentez belong to the journal’s editorial board. Under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, no part or entirety of published materials may be printed or reproduced by photocopy, digital, or other methods without prior permission from the journal’s editorial board. Citations that do not adhere to scientific ethical standards are strictly prohibited.

No royalty payments are made to authors for published articles.

The opinions expressed in published articles and any associated responsibilities belong solely to the authors.

The journal accepts submissions not only from academics but also from researchers and practitioners.

Manuscripts submitted to ETÜ Sentez must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Articles must follow the APA 6th edition citation and referencing format.

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s writing guidelines and submitted via the journal's online system, following a five-step submission process.

Peer Review Process
All submissions to ETÜ Sentez Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field.

Initially, submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial team. Articles that align with the journal’s publication policies are forwarded to a section editor for preliminary evaluation. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s scope, fail to meet language and writing standards in Turkish or English, contain critical scientific errors, lack originality, or do not align with publication policies are rejected. Authors of rejected manuscripts are notified within two weeks of the submission date.

If both reviewers provide a positive evaluation, the manuscript is approved by the editorial board and scheduled for publication in the next available issue.

If one reviewer recommends rejection, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer for evaluation. If the third reviewer gives a positive recommendation and the editorial board approves, the manuscript is published in the next available issue.

If both reviewers provide negative feedback, the manuscript is rejected.

The entire peer review and publication process for manuscripts submitted to ETÜ Sentez is expected to be completed within approximately three months.
