Manuscripts sent to our journal are first evaluated by the Editorial Board in terms of compliance with journal principles. Manuscripts that are not covered by the journal or that do not comply with a scientific writing format in terms of content and form are rejected or some changes may be requested without starting the refereeing process. Academic impartiality and scientific quality are the most important criteria in the evaluation of articles submitted for publication.
Articles submitted in accordance with the publication rules of our journal are sent to two referees who are known for their work in that field for evaluation. Our journal uses the transparent refereeing system in the evaluation process. If one of the two referees evaluating the article gives a positive report and the other a negative report, the article is sent to the third referee or the Editorial Board makes the final decision by examining the referee reports.
In the studies submitted to our journal, the authors take into account the criticism and suggestions of the referee and the Editorial Board. If there are issues that they do not agree with, they have the right to object together with their reasons.
The referee evaluation process of our journal is as follows: Under normal conditions, the preliminary evaluation stage of the editorial board is 3-4 days. Each referee's evaluation period is 15 days, and if the author requests a correction, the correction period is 15 days. Under normal circumstances, the entire evaluation process of an article is expected to be completed within 30-40 days. However, due to the lack of timely return from the referees, re-appointment of referees etc. For reasons, the referee evaluation process may take longer or the referee must send his report before the deadline, the corrections to be made by the author are completed in a short time, etc. For reasons, the article evaluation process may be shortened.
The author(s) who submit an article to our journal are deemed to have accepted the aforementioned referee evaluation conditions and process of the Journal.
