GISTU Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year, in June and December, in the fields of Islamic sciences and social and human sciences.
The journal's primary language is Turkish. However, articles in Arabic, English, and Persian are also published.
The responsibility for the scientific, legal, and linguistic accuracy of the articles published rests with the authors. Published articles cannot be partially or entirely reproduced, republished, or transferred to electronic media without the publisher's permission.
The articles submitted must not have been previously published in any other journal or submitted for publication elsewhere.
For translation, simplification, and transcription articles, photocopies of the original texts must be attached. Additionally, for book reviews and evaluations, the book cover image should be provided in JPEG format.
Articles intended for publication should be submitted via the Dergipark system. Those encountering issues despite the submission guidelines can contact the journal at the email address: "eyyup.tuncer@gistu.edu.tr".
Articles should include a Turkish and English abstract (150-300 words) at the beginning, along with five keywords for each language.
A bibliography must be included at the end of the articles. For articles written in languages other than Latin script, the title, abstract, keywords, and bibliography must also be provided in Latin script.
The formatting guidelines for submitted articles are as follows:
a) The citation system used in the footnotes and bibliography is the "Isnad Citation System" (2nd Edition), specific to the field of Theology.
b) The writing template for Turkish and English can be accessed here: Template for Turkish and English (Sample Text).
c) The writing template for Arabic can be accessed here: Template for Arabic (نموزج).
