Earth Sciences
I've been working as full-time worker in the General Directorate and Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA) since December 2007. I also worked for the Structural Geology Research group of University of Tubingen (Germany) between 2005-2006 and Karadeniz Tecnical University (Trabzon-Turkey) between 2005-2007. My field of interests are; study and exploration of structural controlled of ore-formation systems including, porphyry, epithermal, VMS, iron and chromium deposits in Turkey.
I have been studying mineral deposits with the exploration and goverment companies (MTA) since 2007, and worked for goverment. I 've been actively studying mineral deposits, drillings, geochemistry and exploration geology at Department of Base Metal Unit in the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA). My research interests are mapping hydrothermal alterations, deposit-scale modelling, target generation, epithermal and porphyry systems, and conducting drillings. I have involved in a new collaborative project on the European Tethys Belt, and I have been as full-time explorer of the Project (exploration pollymetalic ores associated with arc magmatism of the Eastern Black Sea region since 2017) . With this project, genetic processes of the newly discovered ore deposits such as porphyry Cu-Mo, epithermal-Au and VMS deposits will be revealed by the new analytical data obtained from rock samples and mineralized samples from the Eastern Pontides. It will provide new knowledge for the exploration of newly mineral deposits in this underexplored belt, which extends from Bulgaria to Azerbaijan. In addition, this study will allow us to combine the metallogenic and geodynamic setting of the European Tethys belt (Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece) with the Lesser Caucasus and Iranian belts, from an international perspective. I am also competent person (QP) at the National Resources and Reserves Reporting Committee (UMREK) since February-2021 in Turkey.
