Pasquale Peluso is Associate Professor of Sociology of Deviance and Criminology, S.S.D. GSPS-07/B Sociology of Law and Deviance belonging to GSD 14/GSPS-07 - Sociology of Politics, Law and Deviance, at the University of Studies “Guglielmo Marconi” in Rome. He received his PhD in “Criminology, Deviance and Social Change” XXI Cycle from the University of Studies “Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples” with a grade of excellent. He has been a lawyer since 02/22/07 and has been a member of the Council of the Bar Association of the Forum of Nola (NA), since 05/15/07. At the University of Studies “Guglielmo Marconi” he is President of the Degree Course LM-85 (Pedagogy - Faculty of Education), is Coordinator of the QA Group of the Courses L-19 (Education and Training Sciences - Faculty of Education) and LM-85 (Pedagogy - Faculty of Education), is a member of the University Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Board of Teachers of the Doctoral Program in Human Sciences. He is scientific director of the Master in Family Mediation activated at the University of Studies “Guglielmo Marconi.” He is an expert member of the Court of Surveillance of Naples. He was a visiting professor from April 20-24, 2023 at the Ali Fuad Başgil Faculty of Law of Ondokuz Mayis University in Samsun Turkey. Most recently he participated in the international conference “Perspectives of personal protection facing the contemporary conflicts” held at the University of Oradea (Romania) from April 24 to 26, 2024 presenting a paper entitled “The security measures in Italy: between social defense needs and new forms of incapacitation.” He is a member of several scientific and editorial boards of scientific journals and series as well as author of numerous scientific publications
