Sinan GOKDEMIR was born in 1982 at Kayseri Türkiye. He achieved bachelor degree in Adnan Menderes March University at Tourism and Hospitality Management School/ Travel Management and Tourist Guidance. After having a couple of different experience at the travel guidance position with different international travel agencies such as Peregrine Adventures and Boronia Travel Center, he achieved Master’s degree at Tourism Management at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in year 2011. Right after he got his master diploma from University he applied and accepted for Phd at Balıkesir University in year 2011. He got his Phd diploma at year 2017. He is a Professor Assist. in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Tourism Faculty since 2013. His main research interests are Tourism Guidance, Cultural Heritage, Travel Management and Social Media Usage in Tourism.
He graduated from Erciyes University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Nevşehir 1996. He started his academic life at Selcuk University in 1997. He completed master's and doctorate education at Selcuk University Social Sciences Institute. He had officiated as Asst. Assoc. Dr. at Beysehir Ali Akkanat Tourism Faculty between 2010 and 2017. Akgöz, who was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019, worked as a faculty member at Manas University in Kyrgyzstan-Turkey between 2017 and 2020. He has many books and articles on topics of tourism, gastronomy and reputation management. He participated in many national and international congresses and conferences. He works at Selcuk University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Management.
An enthusiastic academician with more than 18 years of teaching experience in the hospitality and tourism fields. His main research interest is in hospitality and tourism areas related to hospitality technology, human-technology interaction, educational innovation, innovative marketing, and sustainable tourism. He is passionate about building international academic collaborations toward scholarly, practical, and social advancement.
