Prof. Dr. Şevki KÖMÜR is currently working at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Education ELT Department. His research interests include teaching language skills, testing and evaulation and language teacher education.
Dr. Orhan Kahya graduated from Uludağ University with a degree in English Language Teaching. He pursued graduate studies in Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning, and Economics at Eskişehir Osmangazi University and attended Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (LUES) for one semester as part of the Erasmus exchange program. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Educational Sciences, Educational Administration program at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.
Since 2014, Dr. Kahya has been working as a research assistant at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. His research focuses on disadvantaged groups in education, children of incarcerated parents, and higher education. In 2019, he was awarded the Encouragement Award in the Young Scientist Competition organized by the Foundation for the Development of Common Life. In 2025, he continues his academic studies as a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (USA) under the TÜBİTAK 2219 postdoctoral research fellowship.
