Aim & Scope

NISAR is a peer-reviewed journal that started to be published in 2022. The aim of the journal NISAR is to enable the production and dissemination of academic knowledge by bringing to the attention of academic circles the qualified and original studies on the field of theology, which we can accept as a sub-branch of social sciences. Within the scope of this goal, it is aimed to evaluate and develop the knowledge accumulated in the field of Islamic sciences at national and international level, and to produce new and original ideas. In this respect, it is an international periodical publication in which high-level scientific studies are published. The target audience of NISAR journal is professionals who continue their research in the field of theology and students, readers and institutions who are interested in this field. NISAR is published twice a year, on 31 May and 30 November. The copyrights of the works published in the journal NISAR belong to their authors. NISAR; has embraced open access, non-commercial scientific publishing. Articles published in the journal NISAR can be made accessible by the author in the institutional archive of the university, in the archives on the subject or in other archives requested without the embargo period.

Scope
The journal includes academic studies in line with the publication principles announced in the field of Theology and Islamic Sciences. In this direction, in addition to original and new research articles, different writing types such as research notes, interviews, book introductions, meeting evaluations, doctoral abstracts and loyalty notes are also included. In the journal, Turkish, Arabic and English studies related to all fields of science in the Faculties of Theology and Islamic Sciences in Turkey are evaluated. In addition, the journal also includes academic studies that can be considered related to these branches of science in the field of Social Sciences.

Wage Policy

The publication of articles and the execution of article processes in the journal NISAR are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged under any name for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication.

Publication Principles

• The articles sent to the NISAR  journal must not have been published anywhere before and the publication has not been decided.
• Studies in Turkish, Arabic and English are published in NISAR. Articles in non-Latin letters (in Arabic) are written in Latin: title, abstract, keywords and bibliography must be added to the text.
• Publishing copyright and translated articles and texts: Footnotes, bibliography, abstract and English abstracts should not exceed 10,000 words.
• In the publications of copyrighted and translated articles and texts, there should be a Turkish abstract between 250-300 words and an equivalent English summary and keywords (5-7 words). Other post types should not contain abstract and keywords.
• Evaluation of book and scientific activity, research and loyalty note, doctoral summary: The main text is between 1000-2500 words, excluding footnotes, bibliography, abstract and English abstracts.
• The authors of academic articles sent to NISAR are deemed to have accepted the ethical principles and publication principles.
• The original of the translated articles and the translation permission should be attached.
• The originals of the published texts should be attached.
• NISAR uses the ISNAD Citation System. The articles to be sent to our journal should be arranged according to this system.
• All expenses of the journal are covered by the Publisher. The publication of articles and the execution of article processes in the journal are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication.
• Submitted articles; After being scanned by the plagiarism detection program and determined that it does not contain plagiarism and has not been published before, it is subjected to double-blind peer-review evaluation by at least two referees who have studies on the subject.
