SAVSAD (Journal of War and Defence Research) aims to contribute to national and international scientific knowledge by providing a place for social sciences and humanities in the context of war, national defence and security concepts, as well as interdisciplinary research; and supporting the interaction between researchers and practitioners at the academic level.

SAVSAD publishes qualified and original research which are in accordance with scientific norms and scientific ethics on subjects such as war studies, military history, defence management, national defence, intelligence, international security studies, law of war and armed conflict in various fields of social sciences and humanities as well as interdisciplinary research in Turkish and English through rigorous evaluation.
