Copyright Policy

The website of the tarihyazımı journal and its associated metadata are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC) international license. This license permits authors and readers to share, copy, redistribute, and modify (remix, transform) the content in various formats and media, provided that appropriate credit is given and any alterations are clearly noted. However, it explicitly prohibits any commercial exploitation of the material.

When authors submit their manuscripts to the tarihyazımı journal's online platform, they are required to review the copyright agreement and upload a signed physical copy to the journal system (Copyright Agreement):

The author(s) must affirm that the manuscript submission:
1) Represents the original work of the author(s) listed in the study,
2) Contains no instances of plagiarism,
3) Has not been published or submitted for publication in any other venue,
4) Involves the individual participation of all authors, who accept full responsibility for the study,
5) All authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript submitted.

By submitting their work to the journal under the CC BY-NC license, authors are considered to have accepted the following conditions:
1) The copyright of the published article remains with the author(s).
2) The author(s) grant the historiography journal the right to publish the article and to identify itself as the original publisher.
3) The author(s) allow any third party to use the article freely, provided that the original publication in the historiography journal is properly cited.
4) This license does not limit or restrict an author's right to uphold the integrity and ownership of their work.
5) All commercial rights associated with the article are retained by the authors.

Ethical Committee Approval

With the decision of ULAKBİM on February 25th, 2020, there is a condition that "All the disciplines of science (including social sciences), there should be an Ethical Committee Approval for research involving human and animal (clinical and experimental) separately and this approval must be mentioned in the article and it should be documented". The research conducted by quantitative or qualitative approaches which require data collection such as questionnaire, interview, observation, focus group study, the experiment is regarded under the aforementioned content.
