Aim & Scope

The Journal of German Language and Culture Studies (ALKAD) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal that began publishing in 2019. It is released twice a year, in June and December. The journal aims to present studies focused on the German language and culture to the academic community by subjecting them to scientific standards and evaluation criteria.

The journal features studies centered on the German language and culture, including theoretical and/or applied research in the fields of literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, translation studies, and language teaching.

The journal accepts articles in Turkish, German, and English.
