Publication Principles and Copyright

Articles submitted to the Journal of German Language and Culture Studies must not have been previously published in another journal, nor be under review for publication elsewhere. Papers presented at national or international conferences may be published in our journal, provided they have not been published elsewhere and are clearly indicated in a footnote. The full responsibility for this lies with the author. In cases where prior publication is not disclosed or cannot be determined, any legal consequences related to copyright issues for published works are the sole responsibility of the author(s).

All legal and ethical responsibilities concerning the content of articles published in the *Journal of German Language and Culture Studies* lie with the author(s) of the article.

No royalties are paid for articles published in the journal. All rights to the articles are owned by the *Journal of German Language and Culture Studies*. Authors submitting articles to the journal are considered to have accepted these terms.

If the article is derived from or a section of a graduate thesis, this must be clearly indicated in a footnote by the author.

The journal accepts articles in Turkish, German, and English.

The Journal’s Editorial Board and Editors have the right to make revisions to the submitted articles, as well as the right to decide whether or not to publish them.
