Dr. Ali Ozdemir is a Professor at Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Quantitative Methods. Dr. Ali Ozdemir completed his Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods at Anadolu University. His research interests include "Statistical Analysis", "Multi-Criteria Decision Making". He conducts statistics, operations research and data analysis courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Sinan AYDIN is an Associate Professor of Open and Distance Education at Open Education Faculty, Anadolu University. Dr. Aydin, who completed his bachelors and masters education in Industrial Engineering gained his Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods at January, 2008. He has been teaching database management systems, computer programming and business analytics courses. He is working on applications of AI and ML in open education system.
Dr. Aylin Öztürk is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Machine Learning Department, Carnegie Mellon University, and an Assistant Professor at Anadolu University. She specializes in learning analytics, AI-driven feedback systems, and machine learning applications in education. Dr. Öztürk earned her Ph.D. in Distance Education from Anadolu University, focusing on predicting academic performance and developing AI-based feedback mechanisms. She has contributed to learning analytics, data-driven interventions, and AI-enhanced educational technologies.
Dr. Bülent Batmaz has been serving as a lecturer at Anadolu University’s Open Education Faculty within the Economic and Administrative Programs since 1995. Dr. Batmaz earned his bachelor's degree in 1993 from the Department of Statistics at Anadolu University’s Faculty of Science and Letters. He completed his master’s degree in 2002 in the Department of Quantitative Methods in Education at Anadolu University’s Institute of Social Sciences. In 2018, he was awarded a doctoral degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University’s Institute of Science in the Department of Statistical Information Systems.
Dr. Batmaz has taught various undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including but not limited to Fundamental Statistics, Business Statistics, Operations Research, Research Methods, Big Data, Data Mining, and Social Network Analysis.
N. Selin Copgeven is a research assistant at the Faculty of Open Education at Anadolu University. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Anadolu University. After completing her bachelor's, she earned a Master's degree in Distance Education from Anadolu University, focusing on learning analytics, data visualization, and dashboards. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Distance Education and conducting academic research on AI-based gamification.
Seyda Urfalıoğlu Sahin is a research assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Anadolu University. After completing her bachelor's and master's degrees in econometrics, she pursued a PhD in the field of quantitative methods. She works in the fields of Econometrics, Panel Data Econometrics, Statistics, Multi Criteria Decision Making
Dr. Hande Tiryaki completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Başkent University. In 2013, she earned her Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Science at Anadolu University. She then received her PhD in Computer Engineering from Eskişehir Technical University.
Dr. Tiryaki teaches Artificial Intelligence in Public Relations and Advertising, as well as Artificial Intelligence in Business. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Text Mining, Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography.
