Repository Policy

Bezgek Journal of Teaching Turkish to Foreigners uses the Dergipark infrastructure. Studies sent to Bezgek Journal and successfully passing the referee processes are published in the DergiPark system. Studies returned, rejected and withdrawn by the editors and the editorial board before entering the referee process or studies returned, rejected and withdrawn at the end of the referee process are stored in the Dergipark infrastructure in a way that will not be open to the public. The relevant persons on the journal boards can see the article content, article supplementary files and author information. The authors are asked for the article file, similarity report, ethics committee report according to the type of research and author information form. The author information form includes Title, Name and Surname, Institution Information, City / Country, E-mail and ORCID information. In the journal system; the editorial secretariat, only the Field Editor, Assistant Editor and Editor of the relevant article can access the study content and author information. The statistics editor, language editors and ethics editor can only access the relevant article content sent to them. The Editorial Board and other editorial roles can only see the content of the study and article files if it is referred to them. The advisory board is not authorized in the process. In this context, the editorial roles are announced on the “Journal Boards” page. The process and who accesses the information can be followed under the headings “Ethical Principles and Publication Policy” and “Refereeing Process”.

In case of information provided by third parties in the study data, the authors are warned by the Editorial Secretariat during the pre-control phase to anonymize this data and the necessary procedures are carried out. During the pre-control phase, the study and author information can be viewed by the Editorial Secretariat, Editor and Assistant Editor roles. The refereeing processes are carried out only through the relevant article file in an anonymous flow that does not include author information. Similarly, the author can also view the referee reports anonymously during the process. When it comes to the publication phase, the layout editor can also access the article files. All journal board members are sensitive about the protection of personal data during the publication process.

It is mandatory to obtain an ethics committee decision in field and experimental studies. In cases where the personal information of the participants needs to be published, studies without an ethics committee approval form are returned at the pre-control phase. Studies covering disadvantaged social segments are included in the evaluation process in line with the decision of the ethics committee, the decision of the editorial board and the opinion of the Ethics Editor, as well as the decision of the ethics committee. In this process, the anonymization policy regarding the identities of the participants in the research is meticulously followed by the journal boards.

Bezgek Journal manages author information, process data, and the archive system via DergiPark and shares some data with the following platforms. All process files such as selected referee reports and the first application text are uploaded only to the TR-Index system. These files do not have public access. Referee evaluations can be published anonymously by the decision of the editorial board. Study data and relevant studies are uploaded to the Aperta system only upon the author's request or the recommendation of the Editorial Board. Our journal provides DOI for each article and transfers article metadata to the DOI system. Article and author information are systematically updated on Google Scholar and offered to researchers.

Article full text and metadata are indexed on the Dergipark publishing platform, Erih Plus. Articles are also stored on descriptive platforms such as DOI and Google Scholar.

Data anonymization and deletion requests submitted to Bezgek Journal will be immediately notified to the work partners, and the follow-up and results will be communicated to the requester.
