Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

21st Century Education and Society International Journal of Refereed Educational Sciences and Social Studies, as a journal aware of the fact that information must be easily accessible for the advancement of scientific studies, supports the initiative of open access of peer-reviewed journal literature included in the Budapest Open Access Declaration and offers all published articles in an environment where everyone can read and download them free of charge. In this declaration, open access is used in the sense of “the scientific literature can be accessed, read, saved, copied, printed, scanned, linked to full text, indexed, transferred to software as data and used for all kinds of lawful purposes via the Internet without financial, legal and technical barriers”. Considering the role of knowledge sharing in the advancement of science, open access is of great importance for researchers and readers. For this reason, articles in this journal can be used as long as the author and original source are cited. Permission from authors or publishers is not required. Articles in this journal can be accessed via search engines, websites, blogs and other digital platforms.

These open access policies, which were accepted on September 12, 2012 and adopted by our editorial board, can be accessed at http://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai-10-translations/turkish-translation.

21st Century Education and Society International Refereed Journal of Educational Sciences and Social Research does not charge any subscription fee, publication fee or similar payment for access to electronic and printed resources.

Creative Commons

Creative Commons license is a type of public copyright license that allows a copyrighted work or study to be distributed free of charge. When an author wants to share or grant the right to make changes to the work they have created, they use the CC license.

21st Century Education and Society International Refereed Journal of Educational Sciences and Social Research finds the "Creative Commons Attribution License (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International CC BY-NC-ND)" license appropriate for all published articles.

This license allows other authors to use your work in their own works, for non-commercial purposes and provided that your work is cited.

Open access is an approach that reinforces interdisciplinary development and encourages collaboration between different disciplines. For this reason, the JOURNAL contributes to its field by providing more access to its articles and a more transparent review process.
