ERGONOMIC Journal has been published as E-Journal since 2018. It is a peer-reviewed journal published three times a year (April, August, December).

The journal publishes original articles in the original theoretical and research category which are written in Turkish or English.

In the journal, there are studies related to ergonomics-related subjects (see  https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/ergonomi/aim-and-scope  ) and in related sciences and areas. Articles with the word “Ergonomics” in the title and / or summary and / or keywords are accepted as one of these topics.

Publications such as technical note, letter to editor, discussion, case presentation, compilation and translation are accepted in the journal.

Articles should be prepared using the template rules and the template given on the web page ( https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/ergonomi/writing-rules  ). In the Pre-Control phase, correction of non-compliant articles is requested. If not corrected within 10 days, the application is canceled.

All articles uploaded to the journal are scanned with IThenticate ( http://www.ithenticate.com  ) or Turnitin ( https://www.turnitin.com/ ) software program before being included in the valuation process. The similarity rate is 25% and the articles below are accepted for publication. A correction is requested from the author for the articles above. If the necessary correction is not made within 10 days or if plagiarism or unethical behavior is detected, the article is rejected.

Articles submitted for publication are evaluated by at least 2 referees nationally and / or internationally. The names of the judges evaluating the articles are not reported to the authors (blind peer review). In addition, referees are also guaranteed to evaluate articles without seeing the author names (double-blind peer review).

Articles submitted to the referees are expected to be evaluated within 30 days. In case of exceeding this period, they send a reminder message to the referees. In case the results cannot be received within 10 days, field editors appoint new arbitrators.

Articles rejected by the majority of the referees are rejected by the editors with the suggestion of the field editor. The referees may make major or minor correction decisions on the development of articles which are not seen enough. The development and changes of such articles are expected to be made by the authors within 20 days at the latest.

The responsibility of all articles belongs to the authors. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with internationally recognized ethical codes of science.

A number of an author can publish only one article.

Copyright of the articles accepted to be published in the journal is deemed to have been transferred to our journal. No fee is charged for the article.

The authors make a declaration of conflict of interest in the article.
TR Directory Journal Evaluation criteria were updated to be implemented in 2020, and the articles related to the ethical committee permit required for scientific research were detailed.
