Ergonomics Journal has started its publication life in 2018 with the aim of bringing together the academic studies of scientists and practitioners who have been providing scientific support to Ergonomics for years. In the journal, Ergonomics oriented topics (Anthropometry, Cognitive Ergonomics, Quality of Work Life and Ergonomics, etc.) and closely related to the theoretical and practical work in science and fields are located. Articles with the word “Ergonomics” in the title and / or summary of the article and / or keywords of these subjects may be accepted.
In the Ergonomics Journal, which is an academic peer-reviewed e-journal (e-ISSN : 2651-4877), articles related to ergonomics with theoretical or experimental content are published after passing through a double-blind referee process.
The journal is currently indexed in TR Dizin Index Copernicus, Root Indexing, ReserachBib, Scientific indexing services, Citefactor, DRJI, ESJI (Eurasian Scientific Journal Index), ASOS index.
All the papers sent to be published in the Ergonomics shouldn't be sent or published in any other journal before.
More than one article by the same author cannot be published in an issue. At least one number must pass.
CURRENT PUBLICATION SCHEDULE
The journal is published as 3 issues per year (April, August, and October). In addition to the regular issues, proceedings of the conferences which are organized by National Ergonomics Congress are published as special issues depending upon the decision of the Editorial Board.
MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION PROCESS
The journal uses an online submission and peer review system that allows authors to submit articles online and track their progress via a web interface, provided through DergiPark®. Manuscripts can be prepared either in Turkish or in English.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the template provided on the journal web page (https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/ergonomi/writing-rules ). In the Pre-Control phase, correction for manuscripts that do not meet formatting requirements is requested.
Manuscripts are evaluated by national and/or international referees. This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
The Journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author
PUBLICATION FEES
The journal does not request article submission and processing charges (APCs). All accepted articles are freely available online upon publication.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECLARATION
Authors: Only those who contribute to the relevant work should be considered as authors. On behalf of all co-authors, the corresponding author should bear full responsibility for the submission. Conflict of interests, if any, for all authors must be clearly stated at the end of the manuscript.
Reviewers: Reviewers should consult the editor regarding the evaluation process in case of any doubts/concerns regarding a potential conflict of interest. In order to avoid conflict of interest, people working at the same institution as the author or authors are not assigned as reviewers.
Editors: The Editor or the Area Editor is responsible for managing the review process and has the right to reject the manuscript if there is a conflict of interest.
ETHICAL STATEMENT
The author(s) have received ethics committee approval for research that requires collecting data through quantitative or qualitative methods such as experiments, surveys, scales, interviews, observations, focus group studies, which require ethics committee decision; The name of the ethics committee, decision date and number should be stated on the first or last page of the candidate article and in the method section, and the document showing the ethics committee decision should be uploaded to the system along with the application of the article.
PLAGIARISM DETECTION / ORIGINALITY CHECK
All submitted manuscripts are screened for unoriginal material using IThenticate® software. In accordance with the similarity report generated by the software, the total similarity ratio is over 20%, the Editor request the revision and re-submission of the paper form the corresponding author.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

CONTINUITY
The continuity of the journal is essential. Hundreds of academicians working in the field of ergonomics have participated in the National Ergonomics Congress which held every year since 1971. It is expected that the studies presented at the congress will be developed and submitted to Ergonomics as an article. Thus, the journal will ensure its continuity through Congress.
The journal is published three times a year (April, August and December). In addition to these issues, with the decision of the Editorial Board, the papers presented at the National Ergonomics Congress can be published as "Special Issue".
