Yasin Yalçın is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. He holds a PhD in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies from Florida State University. He has more than 10 years of professional experience as a researcher, instructor, and instructional designer in the field of Instructional Design and Technology.

Dr. Yalçın has published in a number of top journals including the British Journal of Educational Technology, Educational Technology Research & Development, and Education and Information Technologies. His research interests include the development and measurement of competencies in instructional design and instruction, learner competencies in online learning environments, and the motivation and behavior of online learners.
