The Journal of Security Sciences has determined the plagiarism/similarity rate to be a maximum of 20%, as set by the Editorial Board.
1-) Submissions intended for publication in the Journal of Security Sciences undergo an initial assessment for plagiarism/similarity during the pre-review stage.
2-) Articles with a plagiarism/similarity report exceeding 20% are either returned to the author for corrections based on the plagiarism/similarity rate or rejected.
3-) The "Turnitin or iThenticate" programs are used for plagiarism/similarity reports.
4-) Citations and expressions in quotation marks are not considered in the calculation of the similarity rate.
5-) Authors must ensure that they have produced original articles and, if they have used the articles, works, and/or words of others, they must appropriately cite and quote them."
