The Journal of General Turkish History Research is an international peer-reviewed journal that aims to contribute to academic research in the field of Turkish history and culture. The journal publishes original research articles, review studies, book reviews, and scientific discussions that encompass various methodological approaches within the discipline of history.
Our journal primarily addresses historians as well as academics, researchers, and experts working within the historical research areas defined by Web of Science
(see relevant fields). Embracing an interdisciplinary approach, we encourage studies related to Turkish history from fields such as history, archaeology, art history, literature, political science, and sociology.
To ensure a smooth evaluation process, authors must adhere to the following guidelines:
• A single author cannot submit multiple articles for review within the same period.
• Late submissions will not be accepted; articles submitted outside the designated schedule will be postponed to the next evaluation period.
• As part of our publication policy, all manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening to maintain academic integrity and ethical standards.

The Journal of General Turkish History Research aims to contribute to the publication of academic studies on history and culture, covering the millennia-old heritage of Turkish history. Its scope extends from Derbent to the Black Sea, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, encompassing the entire Russian territory, the Caucasus, Iran, and Afghanistan, as well as the Turkestan region, the Middle and Near East, and Eastern Europe, from east to west and north to south.
