1-All sources used in scientific studies must be specified, citations must be accurate and appropriate to the source.
2- By submitting it to the Genel Türk Tarihi araştırmaları Dergisi, the author guarantees that his article is original and in accordance with scientific ethical standards, that the references of the sources used are fully cited and that they are not similar to other published or published articles.
Each article submitted to the Journal of General Turkish History Research for publication is requested by the Editorial Board to pass their articles through a similarity check using Turnitin or iThenticate program and to upload the received report to the journal system.
The Journal Editorial Board adopts the following rules in determining the similarity rate:
1. Articles with a general similarity rate above 15% are sent back to the author without entering the referee process. In this case, the authors can edit and resubmit the article within 3 weeks.
2. The similarity rate from a single source should be less than 3%.
3. Editors may check for similarity during or after the peer review process.
In addition, in case of similarities in the form of all kinds of statements and/or blocks taken from a source and not referred to the relevant source, regardless of the similarity rate, the study will be returned to the author without being taken into the evaluation process.
The above-mentioned rules are accepted by all authors who apply for the article.
