Ali Kuşçu Zeyrek Academy Talks
“Ali Kuşçu Zeyrek Academy Talks on the Occasion of the 550th Anniversary of his Death” program,
These events, organized by Fatih Municipality Zeyrek Academy and Istanbul Medeniyet University History of Science Institute in cooperation with Fatih Municipality Zeyrek Academy and Istanbul Medeniyet University History of Science Institute, will be held throughout 2024 to remind the legacy and scientific contributions of the great Islamic-Turkish scholar Ali Kuşçu and will address the traces left by Ali Kuşçu in a wide range of fields from philosophy of language to logic, natural philosophy to metaphysics, mathematics to astronomy. Under the guidance of İhsan Fazlıoğlu and with the participation of leading academics, Kuşçu's philosophy-science background will be examined in depth.
We invite everyone interested to participate in these in-depth discussions on the philosophy-science legacy of Ali Kuşçu, who said, “The most valuable of all blessings is knowledge.”-
