She worked as a Psychology teacher at the schools of the Ministry of National Education between 2010-2014. Then, she won a scholarship in 2014 and completed her language education. She took a language course in Cambridge in 2016, and continued to study postgraduate programs. She studied Philosophy MA at Sussex University in the UK, in 2017. Afterwards, she got her doctorate in the History of Philosophy at the same university. In her PhD, she wrote a thesis on discursive bodies and the future of gender. Her areas of interest are body theories in the history of philosophy, feminist philosophy, gender and power relations, othering and social extensions, 20th century French Philosophy, Turkish Philosophy in Anatolia, and recently Ancient Roman Philosophy through the Latin texts and archives.
He is working as Assistant Professor at Sirnak University of Turkey, Faculty of Theology. His research interest can extend from Religious Education, Religious Studies, Islamic Education to Worldview Studies. He has 15 years’ experience teaching RE in maintained secondary schools in and around Turkey and London. This has contributed to his wide-ranging practical and theoretical understanding of RE. He had two master Degree; one of them “Dokuz Eylul University” the other one Master of Art and Education at Fordham University, New York. He completed his Ph D at University College London, Institute of Education. Altintas’s doctoral research was in Critical Religious education and worldviews of young people at Imam Hatip Schools. He is an Erasmus Youth Leader and working on youth and its culture. He has many international published paper and articles; currently his new book is published by Nobel Academy with name of ‘The Role of Religious Education in the 21st century: Worldviews and Identity Discernment of Muslim Youth’.
Dr. Yahyahan Aras is an Assistant Professor at Barry University. He holds a B.A. in Counseling Psychology and Guidance from Selcuk University (Turkey), an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Dr. Aras has worked with K-12 students in both Turkey and the U.S., as well as with student-athletes and nursing students in college settings.
His research interests include the social justice identity development of counselors, counseling for immigrants and refugees, mentoring in counselor education, and support for international students. He has published numerous articles on these topics in top-tier counseling journals and has presented his work at state and national conferences.
